The whole Kaziranga national Park is divided into four different zones. Elephant safari in Kaziranga takes you through the Kohora-central path, Mihimukh, Arimarah, Hole Path and Bagori or western zone. Western zone is highly recommended safari zone in the Kaziranga where there is strong probability of spotting tiger and most famous one-horned rhinos. The elephant safari set out at 05:30 and 06:30 every morning and continues up to one or one and half hours.

Best Time To Visit Kaziranga National Park

Kaziranga National Park experiences all three seasons: Summer, winter and Monsoon respectively. Between November and February is the winter season with mild and dry day. The summer between March and May is hot. The rainy monsoon season lasts from June to September. Every year Brahmaputra River floods the park during monsoon. So, major area of the park becomes inaccessible during this particular season. It is advisable to visit the park through the months of November to April that gives perfect sightings of the wildlife residents in the park. Best season to enjoy the excursion The ideal time to visit the Kaziranga National Park is between moths of November and April.
