The chief minister reopened kohora and Bagori Ranges during functions organised at Bagori and Mihimukh. Addressing the function at Bagori Range, Chief Minister said that the step government has taken many steps for conservation, beautification and development of the park.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-487\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kaziranganationalpark-india.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/k1-1024x577.png\" alt=\"kaziranga park reopen\" width=\"525\" height=\"296\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.kaziranganationalpark-india.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/k1-1024x577.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.kaziranganationalpark-india.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/k1-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/www.kaziranganationalpark-india.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/k1-768x433.png 768w, https:\/\/www.kaziranganationalpark-india.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/k1.png 1170w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Kaziranga is UNESCO declared World Heritage Site and home to the famous one-horn rhinoceros.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion he referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s initiative of making India one of the most demanding tourist destinations in the world, he quoted that \u201cIt is a great matter of pride for us that Kaziranga National Park has garnered its name in the 17 most iconic centers of the country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also announced that for preserving and protecting the rich biodiversity of the Kaziranga National Park \u2013 a 32 kilometre long expressway will be constructed over the national highway which is close to Kaziranga National Park.<\/p>\n<p>Flood caused big damage to the safari area of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kaziranganationalpark-india.com\">Kaziranga National Park<\/a> due to which tourist\u2019s won\u2019t be able to visit all the parts of the park sprawl over 430 square kilometre. \u00a0Roads in the many parts of the park, which are used by the travellers for the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kaziranganationalpark-india.com\/info\/Jeep-Safari.html\"> jeep &amp; elephant safari<\/a> purpose only, are yet to be repaired after damage caused due to heavy floods.
