3 Facts about Kaziranga which is not yet known to many
A premier tiger destination in southern India, Kaziranga National Park is also known as the land of one-horned rhinos. In 1905, Kaziranga National Park was established on the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River to look after the greater one-horned rhinoceros from destruction. Stalked for their wrenched horns, rhinos are the main target for rustling. Intending to protect Kaziranga, almost two-thirds of the world’s population of greater one-horned rhinos now live inside the park. There are plenty of tigers mostly hidden in the middle of elephant grass and intense tropical forest. Spotting them is also not a tough task including buffalo, imperiled swamp deer, and river dolphins.
Kaziranga is named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1985. It is one of the amazing places in eastern India undamaged by the human species. It is also true that the major part of the park (90 % of the park) is wrapped in dense forest.

Most of the tourists take a flight from Kolkata to Jorhat, 70 miles away from the park, or Guwahati, 135 miles away. The park has its beauty in every season. It looks different season-wise. Interesting species of monkeys
Not many people have known the fact that the Kaziranga national park is home to some beautiful and interesting species of monkeys. Explorer feels blessed to watch such species Ashiwara rufescent. It is a small in size tree and you can find it in scrub forests.
Omnivores red goats
Another intriguing thing about Kaziranga National Park is that it is hosting great deals of red goats. According to the estimate, there are around 1500 red goats inside the park. These species are omnivores and they eat fruits and grass along the flesh. You will rarely find them here in the park.
Elephants Reserve
The most critical flora and fauna protection capability in Kaziranga National Park is the Elephants Reserve. This preserve is largely located sideways for elephant reproduction. This is the only propagation position for the significantly rare black and white elephants in Kaziranga, Assam.
