Outlook Traveller has awarded Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve the Gold Award for Best Wildlife Destination in India. A total of four northeastern states received recognition for their stupendous contribution to sustainable tourism.

Wildlife conservation has been a significant success story at Kaziranga. With its location at the edge of the Eastern Himalayas biodiversity hotspot, Kaziranga offers a unique combination of diversity and visibility. With its vast expanse of tall elephant grass, marshland, and dense tropical moist broadleaf forests, the park is crisscrossed by four major rivers, including the Brahmaputra, and it contains numerous small lakes. In addition to books, songs, and documentaries, Kaziranga has been the subject of several documentaries and songs. Following its establishment as a reserve forest in 1905, the park celebrated its centenary in 2005.

The healthy range of flora and fauna keeps this park alive and vivid. The wide forest has a great equation with wild creatures. The migratory and resident birds are all unique in making moves in the jungle. Brahmaputra River is an active place to find birds in bulk. Your camera will love to click them and make your wildlife craving fully gratified.

Kaziranga National Park is the only park that gives an authentic feeling of being in the jungle. The sense of completeness with all the forest wonders is sure to supercharge your brains.
