GTI Travels Private Limited: Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing GTI Travels Pvt. Ltd., an independent travel agency operating www.kaziranganationalpark-india.com. This policy describes cancellation charges and the handling of refund requests for travel services arranged through us.

Cancellation terms may vary according to the booked service, supplier rules and the conditions communicated at the time of booking. Please review your booking confirmation for any service-specific conditions.

1. Cancellation Request Procedure

If you need to postpone or cancel your tour or travel arrangements, please notify us in writing at contact@kaziranganationalpark-india.com. Cancellation charges are calculated from the date we receive your written request, subject to the booking's applicable conditions.

2. Tour Package Cancellation Charges

The following cancellation schedule is taken from our previously published tour policy and applies where no different booking-specific terms have been communicated:

Time before scheduled arrival	Cancellation charge
30 days or more	10% of tour cost
15 to 29 days	30% of tour cost
7 to 14 days	40% of tour cost
2 to 6 days	50% of tour cost
Less than 48 hours, or no-show	No refund

Important: The original schedule does not expressly specify the interval between 48 hours and 2 days, or how a cancellation exactly 30 days before arrival is calculated. Please confirm the applicable charge with our team before relying on a boundary case.

3. Jeep & Elephant Safari Bookings

As stated in our existing cancellation terms, Jeep Safari and Elephant Safari booking amounts are non-refundable. Safari permits, timings and zone allocation are subject to availability and applicable Forest Department regulations. If a safari cannot operate or a permit is not confirmed, the applicable resolution will depend on the booking status, supplier rules and any mandatory legal rights.

4. Hotels and Peak-Season Reservations

Hotel reservations during peak seasons, including Holi, Diwali, Christmas, New Year and other high-demand periods, may have separate cancellation conditions. Where applicable, these conditions will be advised for the relevant hotel or booking.

5. No-Show and Early Departure

Failure to arrive for a confirmed service may be treated as a no-show under the applicable booking terms. Refunds for unused services or early departure are not automatically guaranteed and depend on the service provider's conditions and applicable law.

6. Refund Review and Processing

When a refund is due, we will review the booking details, payment records, applicable cancellation charges and supplier conditions. Approved refunds will be processed through an appropriate available payment method. The actual credit time may depend on the bank or payment service provider. No fixed processing period is promised in this policy.

7. Changes in Government Fees and Charges

After a tour or service cost is finalized, any applicable changes in safari permit fees, taxes, fuel costs or government-determined guide charges may affect the final amount, subject to the agreed booking terms and applicable law. Any additional amount will be communicated where relevant.

8. Refund Enquiries and Disputes

To request a cancellation or enquire about a refund, email us with your booking reference, customer name, travel date and a description of your request. Please avoid sending full payment card details or sensitive identity documents by ordinary email unless specifically required through an appropriate secure process.

9. Independent Travel Agency Disclosure

GTI Travels Pvt. Ltd. is an independent travel agency. This website is not an official Government, Assam Forest Department or National Park authority website. Safari confirmation and permit allocation are subject to the applicable authority's rules.
